Former spearfishing, Patrick began scuba diving in the Var in 1982. He quickly swapped the harpoon gun against the camera and since then has never tired of the exhilarating feeling of weightlessness, and the show constantly renewed offered by oceans.
Several awards in major international competitions (Movies), Patrick has specialized in large marine animals, especially sharks for which he feels a real fascination.
He dove with them around the world and brought impressive images of larger predators. A true lover of animal behavior, Patrick has developed an intimate knowledge of the larger species that will share during diving trips he organizes with professional partners from the diving trip.
Patrick is an activist committed to the protection of the oceans. He is vice president of the association "Requins en peril" whose purpose is the defense of sharks and rehabilitate their image with the public.
